Ever wonder why the Carney folk succeed at throwing wiffle-balls in the basket or coins on the plate when your's bounces out/off? Well, it is simple physics. They make you stand "behind the line" to make the toss. They always perform such demonstrations a few feet closer. The extra force you have to impart to the ball or coin makes all the difference.
