SS attended Day 2 of the Carolina Panthers' training camp at Wofford College. An evening practice and NO THUNDERSTORM! Cam Newton looked really sharp and seemed to pick up where he left off at the end of last season. I was impressed with his ability to zip the ball 40 yards with pinpoint accuracy. He was consistently hitting receivers in stride and putting the ball at chest level. There is clear separation in talent between Cam and #2 QB, Anderson, who has a good arm, but less mobile, and a split second slower in decision-making. My impression is that Anderson will easily hang on to the #2 job ahead of Jimmy Claussen . Kids outside end zone talked Cam into tossing them a football. I'm sure he can afford it. I was pleased that security was barely noticeable. Hardly the fortress state of a Spartan Hi game.
